Erin Brockovich (2000) Review

Hello Adventurers!

Today I thought that I would talk about a film that my Mum introduced me to.  This film is the one and only ‘Erin Brockovich’.  I remember watching this when I was around ten to twelve years old and it has really stuck with me, and that, to me, says just how great this film really is.

Gluten Free Hot Chocolate American Pancakes

Hello Adventurers!

This recipe is great as it combines two of my favourite things: American pancakes and hot chocolate!  This I think recipe is great all year around, but I think that it will truly shine around Christmas time.  This could possibly be my Christmas Day breakfast already planned out!  Lets-a-go!

Gluten Free Tanya Burr Chocolate and Cinnamon Cookies

Hello Adventurers!

These cookies are one of the best things that I have come across in my ‘In The Kitchen’.  They taste amazing and take little to no time to cook.  I have to admit that, still, when I think of this flavour combination, I question if it will work or not… but it sooo does!  These cookies are chocolately and warm at the same time and I am really happy that I could add to an old classic.  Lets-a-go!

My Style (take it or leave it…) – 13-08-2018

Hello Adventurers!

This weekend me and my Mum went to breakfast early to try and work out my schedule for the next six weeks as I am having my hair done and then I am going on holiday for a week, plus my Mum is then having the week we come back off, and I want to be able to spend as much of that time having fun with her and not working.  I got very confused and frustrated but we worked it out and then my Dad showed up and we all had breakfast and talked about what events had happened in the last week.  My Mum then went off to do her jobs and me and Dad headed up to his, popping to Tescos on the way through as I (and my Dad) needed to get some milk for his flat.

Peter Rabbit (2018) Review

Hello Adventurers!

My Mum actually got this film for me as a surprise the other weekend and I have watched it sporadically.  I look after my Goddaughter a lot and I thought that this would be a great film to watch with her, however she is very much a ‘doing’ child in that she always has to be doing something.  The first time we watched it we got about thirty minutes in before her Mum came to pick her up, and the second time, we got about fifty minutes in.  I finally watched it all the way through on Monday night and loved every second of it.  I love Beatrix Potter and grew up with her stories.  I have actually visited the museum about three – five times over the years as I have relatives in Scotland and every time we visited we would pass the museum.  It is an amazing place and I also have the DVD’s of ‘The Beatrix Potter Collection’ with all the individual stories.  These stories have a very special place in my heart and I love that this film hasn’t tried to do anything too far away from the original stories, but still make it its own story so that it isn’t just another retelling or remake of the old stories. Virgin Mojito Flavoured Water

Hello Adventurers!

I absolutely loved the taste of my flavoured water recipe, link here, and I am really excited to be showing you another one.  One of my all time favourite drinks is a virgin mojito, I actually have this most weekends when I go to dinner with my Dad and I wanted to create a few recipes with the components of this delicious drink.  In view of how hot it has been the last couple of months, I wanted to create another refreshing flavoured water recipe but combine my favourite drink with it!  This recipe is based on a 250ml glass, lets-a-go!

Gluten Free Plain American Pancake Tray Cake

Hello Adventurers!

Now I can probably guess what you are thinking right now, she has already got a recipe for ‘Gluten Free Plain American Pancakes’, link here, why is she now turning it into a tray cake?  Well to start with, I wasn’t even sure that this recipe was going to work in an oven in the first place.  So, I thought, why not give it a go?  It turns out, that baking these in the oven is a super quick way of doing it!  I also think that this would be good for busy Mums or busy mornings.  They taste amazing and I cannot wait to do this again with flavouring!

My Style (take it or leave it…) – 06-08-2018

Hello Adventurers!

This weekend has been quite a chilled one and that is great.  I have been working non-stop recently so it has been really nice to chill out and not have to worry about work for a day or two.  To start with, on Saturday, I woke up around 6.15am as I wanted to film a video, however, me and my Mum had been talking about so many different videos that we were both completely confused about what the heck I was meant to be filming!  We talked about different videos that I could film quite quickly as we were meeting my Dad for breakfast at 10.30am.  I was going to film a ‘My Goals 2018 Half Yearly Review’ but the prep work for it wasn’t completely done, and as this is, to me, quite an important video, I wanted it to be 100% ready.  I went and had a shower and we both decided that I would the next ‘Style’ video as the majority of it was ready, and I could film one of the other Friday videos we were talking about with no problem during the week.
