Gluten Free Hot Chocolate American Pancakes

Hello Adventurers!

This recipe is great as it combines two of my favourite things: American pancakes and hot chocolate!  This I think recipe is great all year around, but I think that it will truly shine around Christmas time.  This could possibly be my Christmas Day breakfast already planned out!  Lets-a-go!

Gluten Free Tanya Burr Chocolate and Cinnamon Cookies

Hello Adventurers!

These cookies are one of the best things that I have come across in my ‘In The Kitchen’.  They taste amazing and take little to no time to cook.  I have to admit that, still, when I think of this flavour combination, I question if it will work or not… but it sooo does!  These cookies are chocolately and warm at the same time and I am really happy that I could add to an old classic.  Lets-a-go!

Virgin Mojito Flavoured Water

Hello Adventurers!

I absolutely loved the taste of my flavoured water recipe, link here, and I am really excited to be showing you another one.  One of my all time favourite drinks is a virgin mojito, I actually have this most weekends when I go to dinner with my Dad and I wanted to create a few recipes with the components of this delicious drink.  In view of how hot it has been the last couple of months, I wanted to create another refreshing flavoured water recipe but combine my favourite drink with it!  This recipe is based on a 250ml glass, lets-a-go!

Gluten Free Plain American Pancake Tray Cake

Hello Adventurers!

Now I can probably guess what you are thinking right now, she has already got a recipe for ‘Gluten Free Plain American Pancakes’, link here, why is she now turning it into a tray cake?  Well to start with, I wasn’t even sure that this recipe was going to work in an oven in the first place.  So, I thought, why not give it a go?  It turns out, that baking these in the oven is a super quick way of doing it!  I also think that this would be good for busy Mums or busy mornings.  They taste amazing and I cannot wait to do this again with flavouring!

Gluten Free Nutella Filled French Toast

Hello Adventurers!

As you know from my ‘Quick and Easy Cheese Omelette’ blog post, link here, I took part in Jamie Oliver’s 5 Day Veggie Challenge and he did a recipe which he liked to call, ‘Eggy Bread Sandwich’, which to me, was basically peanut butter and raspberry French toast.  After mastering making my own gluten and yeast free bread, which I will tell you how to make in this recipe, the first thing that I wanted to make with a French toast recipe was Nutella filled French toast… so here I am achieving that goal today.  Let’s-a-go!

Gluten Free Harry Potter’s Birthday Cake

Hello Adventurers!

First, things first, HAPPY HARRY POTTER DAY!  I hope you are having a fantastic day and are celebrating appropriately.  I love Harry Potter, I have read all the books and watched all the films, and I am so grateful that it exists as an escape route from daily life!  On Tuesdays, I tend to post anything I want on this blog and I thought what better way to celebrate Harry Potter Day, than to make his birthday cake, as today is also Harry Potter’s birthday.  I have actually combined my own recipes (because I cannot eat gluten or wheat or have a lot of dairy products) with some new ones from a book, where I got the inspiration for this post today, ‘The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook’ by Dinah Bucholz.  I have also changed it slightly, as instead of doing a two layered cake, I have done a five tier cake!  Before I continue, if you would actually like to see me make this cake, you can check on the video at the bottom of this post!  Let’s-a-go!

Cucumber and Mint Lemonade

Hello Adventurers!

I saw this being sold as flavoured water in M&S and it gave me the idea to make this lemonade.  This drink is sooo refreshing, especially in the hot weather that we have been having, I cannot wait to try it with just water to see how refreshing it is!  I also love that it has the flavours of lemonade and the sweetness of the golden syrup just to give it that little extra something!  This recipe was for a 250ml glass. Gluten Free Plain Muffins

Hello Adventurers!

Today I thought that I would talk about a recipe that my cousin has told me to try and master for a long time, muffins!  My Goddaughter loves blueberry muffins and her Mum has been telling me for over six months now to try and master a Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin recipe and I thought today that I would, as I always do, master the basic recipe and then play with the flavours.  Here is my recipe for twelve Gluten Free Plain Muffins! Quick and Easy Cheese Omelette

Hello Adventurers!

I recently, okay a little while ago now, tried Jamie Oliver’s 5 Day Veggie challenge which opened up all kinds of new food and just how tasty vegetarian options could be!  Here is a recipe that I tried but never actually succeeded in making until I tried the ‘5 Day Veggie Challenge’.  In Jamie Oliver’s recipe I had to do more with it, but I thought that for today I would keep it nice and simple and then go into the full details of what Jamie’s recipe was in a few weeks!
