Beauty and the Beast (2017) Review

Hello Adventurers!

Since this is my birthday month, I want to spend it talking about and creating all the things I love. So, what better film to review than ‘Beauty and the Beast’ the 2017 version, seeing as ‘Beauty and the Beast’ is my all time favourite Disney film! I absolutely love this film as I find that it has most things, to me anyway, that make it good. I have actually watched this film twice in one sitting before, and by this I mean I watched it once and started it from the beginning again. If that doesn’t show how much you love a film, I don’t know what will!

King Arthur – Legend Of The Sword (2017) Review

Hello Adventurers!

If you saw my weekly vlogs from the beginning of this year, you will have seen how obsessed I got with this film and I think that in the end I watched it every day for about two weeks!  It is one of my all time favourite films, hence it living in my T.A.R.D.I.S. (where all of my faourite and feel good films live) and also, seeing as this is my birthday month, I want to talk about films that I truly love!

A Quiet Place (2018) Review

Hello Adventurers!

I have wanted to watch this film for a REALLY long time.  The first time I saw anything to do with it was on Instagram.  It showed the trailer with the caption above it as ‘a deaf haunted family’ or something like that.  They truly couldn’t have been more wrong if they tried!  I thought that this film was a horror film, which I don’t really like, however I loved the trailer and just had to see it for myself.  I always watch horror films with my Mum as she grew up watching horror films so they don’t affect her as they do me, and it turns out that she was the one that needed comforting, not me which was a real surprise!  I cannot speak higher of this film!

Ready Player One (2018) Review

Hello Adventurers!

Today I am going to talk about a  film that a lot of people have really gotten into ‘Ready Player One’.  I understand that this film is an adaptation of a book, of the same name, and I now really want to read it.  I really like the story line for this film and think that everyone involved should be very proud how it turned out.

Erin Brockovich (2000) Review

Hello Adventurers!

Today I thought that I would talk about a film that my Mum introduced me to.  This film is the one and only ‘Erin Brockovich’.  I remember watching this when I was around ten to twelve years old and it has really stuck with me, and that, to me, says just how great this film really is.

Peter Rabbit (2018) Review

Hello Adventurers!

My Mum actually got this film for me as a surprise the other weekend and I have watched it sporadically.  I look after my Goddaughter a lot and I thought that this would be a great film to watch with her, however she is very much a ‘doing’ child in that she always has to be doing something.  The first time we watched it we got about thirty minutes in before her Mum came to pick her up, and the second time, we got about fifty minutes in.  I finally watched it all the way through on Monday night and loved every second of it.  I love Beatrix Potter and grew up with her stories.  I have actually visited the museum about three – five times over the years as I have relatives in Scotland and every time we visited we would pass the museum.  It is an amazing place and I also have the DVD’s of ‘The Beatrix Potter Collection’ with all the individual stories.  These stories have a very special place in my heart and I love that this film hasn’t tried to do anything too far away from the original stories, but still make it its own story so that it isn’t just another retelling or remake of the old stories. Logan Lucky (2017) Review

Hello Adventurers!

Can I just start off my by saying that I absolutely LOVE this film!  To me it is a really great comedy that is great to put on when you feel like rubbish, or when it is a rainy day outside.  I watched the trailer for this ages ago and was interested by two things: one that it looked brilliant and two to see Daniel Craig do something other than a James Bond film, as they are the only films that I had previously seen him do… other than ‘The Golden Compass’.

The DaVinci Code (2006) Review

Hello Adventurers!

I thought that today I would do one of my all time favourite films, although it took me watching it ten times to understand it!  The Da Vinci Code is an amazing film and I actually watched it every Friday for over a month, along with its sequels.  This film, for some reason, leaves me with a smile on my face, the entire length of it.
