Gluten Free Christmas Mince Pie Cupcakes

Hello Adventurers!

I recently made my ‘Gluten Free Christmas Mince Pie Cake’, link here, for a video, and I thought that this year I would create smaller versions of this delicious cake.  This is mainly because I love it so much and thought that it would be great for people who don’t want whole slices of cake, PLUS they can take them home if they are too full after the great Christmas lunch/dinner.  Let’s-a-go!

Gluten Free Mixed Spice Apple Pie

Hello Adventurers!

I recently made a ‘Gluten Free Apple Pie’ for a video on my YouTube channel, link here, and I thought that this is, to me, a really Christmassy item, especially when you add the mixed spice.  Apple pies make you warm from the inside out and I think that Christmas has the same effect.  I cannot wait for you guys to try this out and share with me your topping ideas.  Let’s-a-go! My Style (take it or leave it…) – 03-12-2018

Hello Adventurers!

This weekend was slightly different as I stayed at my Dad’s on Friday night instead of Saturday. I’d been asked to babysit my Godson overnight on Saturday so made a snap decision to stay over with my Dad on Friday and luckily it was okay with my Dad. Strawberry and Chocolate Smoothie

Hello Adventurers!

This is a smoothie, and milkshake, that I have wanted to make for a long time.  I like strawberries, and love strawberries dipped in chocolate, and that was kind of my thinking around this smoothie.  It is incredibly filling and rich in flavour, as you will see in the list of ingredients.  I originally tried adding just ten grams of cocoa powder to my smoothie and this was way too much!  I think around half that (5g) will be a good flavour combination, for me, but add as little or as much as you like.

This recipe makes around 350ml of this lovely smoothie.  Let’s-a-go! Continue reading “Strawberry and Chocolate Smoothie”

Gluten Free Simple Peanut Butter Loaf

Hello Adventurers!

This recipe took more peanut butter than I thought to get the taste through, but it is sooo worth it.  After this being one of the first, technically, baking blog posts with peanut butter as the sole flavour, I cannot wait to try it in so many more recipes and baking things.  The loaf tastes amazing and I am really happy to be sharing this with you.  Let’s-a-go! Continue reading “Gluten Free Simple Peanut Butter Loaf”

My Style (take it or leave it…) – 26-11-2018

Hello Adventurers!

I decided to stay home this weekend as I needed to get some much needed work done for the Christmas time. Saturday morning I helped my Uncle out with a few things before my Dad took me to my local shopping centre, while my Mum went and had a meeting with another Uncle of mine.  Continue reading “My Style (take it or leave it…) – 26-11-2018”

Gluten Free Mixed Spice American Pancakes

Hello Adventurers!

This is what I like to call a little slice of Christmas before December comes around.  American pancakes are one of my favourite things (other wise I wouldn’t make sooo many of them) and I really happy with these.  When these pancakes are cooking your whole kitchen, or even your house will smell just like Christmas!  Continue reading “Gluten Free Mixed Spice American Pancakes”

Gluten Free Lemon Muffins

Hello Adventurers!

I loved my original recipe for gluten free plain muffins, link here, and wanted to a nice fresh flavour.  I know that this if probably the worst time of year for this sort of flavour, however, I was thinking to myself, that for people who don’t like winter and only like the spring/summer time, this could be a good reminder that it is only really just around the corner.  Also, this if probably one of the last recipes that I make this year that isn’t Christmas/New Year inspired!  Here is my recipe for twelve Gluten Free Plain Muffins, let’s-a-go! My Style (take it or leave it…) – 19-11-2018

Hello Adventurers!

This weekend me and Mum went up to our storage containers again to do some more sorting out. We managed to get another good dump run in, a whole container full of things for charity and a load more clothes for my Nana to give to her church. Although the storage container is going to be little and often, in the end it is really going to be worth all the work we are putting in now. Everything both me and my Mum own are in those containers and we are trying our hardest to sort through things (even if it is the third time) that we could no longer need or we don’t like but it is really hard for both of us, our whole lives are in there and it can be a really good but heart breaking when we leave there because we can’t use the things. Some Like It Hot (1959) Review

Hello Adventurers!

This film is laugh out loud funny!  Comedies are one of my favourite genre of films and that I why I love watching them.  This film was one of those classics that stands the test of time.  It was given to me on my birthday recently and we watched it while in Spain as it was too hot to be outside over the lunchtime period.  This film has made me realise that even though classics can be completely different to modern day films, they are just as funny and they don’t need complicated story lines to be great.
