Today I am going through my monthly favourites for April to remind me of what’s been so good about the month. Check out all the links to everything I talk about at the end of this blog post. Also, don’t forget to check out my video below!
My favourite YouTube Video for April is my film review of ‘Johnny English Strikes Back’. I absolutely love this video. I haven’t done a film review on here in a really long time, and not at all on my YouTube channel, so this allowed me to do something different. It also made me laugh to watch the film and then laugh again when I started filming the review.
My favourite blog post is a VERY touchy subject with me at the moment as my website refused to work for practically the entire month of April and has taken weeks to sort out. However, now that I have back logged all my blogs, and got everything that was supposed to go up up, my favourites that did go up were all my Easter posts. Although it was hard work from beginning to end, I had such fun planning them, ordering such cute stuff and it allowed me to learn to make things like my lactose free mini Easter eggs, hot cross buns and orangeade. My favourite beauty products for April were some hairbands I bought. I am a bit anxiety filled and ‘OCD’ about my hair when I’m filming and mostly stick to a rigid hair routine and the hairbands will allow me to film when my hair is less than perfect, but not knock my confidence, filling me with it instead! I confess I’m still spending time finding a perfect style that I will be happy with when using them.
April’s favourite bake was Cupcake Jemma’s mini ombre cakes. They were time-consuming and really hard to film but the end result was so worth it!
Favourite song for April was ‘Only Us’ from Dear Evan Hanson. As usual, the reason for picking this one is because I found myself singing/humming it constantly. I think that this must be making everyone I live with crazy, but I DON’T CARE, hahaha.
My favourite buy was my Jon Snow t-shirt from Primark. I love the Game of Thrones series and as it’s just come back on, Primark had this lovely t-shirt. I am absolutely loving, and am obsessed with, the new series!
Favourite moment of the month was when my Goddaughter came to visit. I always demand a cuddle and when I demanded my cuddle this time as she had (almost) avoided me, the smile that spread across her face as she ran across the room was priceless.
And, lastly, my favourite DVD was ‘Mamma Mia: Here we Go Again’. It made me laugh out loud when I watched it and I have two favourite moments, one, when two of the dads are dancing on the boat (perfect!), the second being when Julie Walter dances to ‘Angel Eyes’. Her comic timing is brilliant and the DVD is going in my ‘raises me up when I’m feeling low’ collection.
