Now, I know that I don’t usually talk about my style on a Friday, but I thought that I would mix things up a little and tell you what I wore for Christmas this year. Don’t forget to check out my video at the end of this post!
Every year my Mum has taken to buying me a new outfit for Christmas Day – although I do give some heavy hints to guide her in the right direction!
When I was doing my usual Christmas jumper shop, I saw a top that had a red rim round the neck, a striped pattern and two sprouts kissing under some mistletoe. Naturally I fell in love with it and showed it to my Mum. So when Mum asked me if there was anything I would be disappointed if I didn’t get it for Christmas that was what I said. Mum was relieved as it was already wrapped and ready!
While shopping for presents I also managed to find a blue cord dress and bought it to wear as well. Mum then bought some thermal leggings to wear under the dress. It was a two pair pack, one plain black and one a light grey with white stripes. I wore the black pair on the day.
I was also given some grinch socks and my Dad had already bought me some black pixie boots so my bottom half was covered.
Since I was spending Christmas Eve with my Dad, my Mum gave me the wrapped up outfit on the day before Christmas Eve. I was so pleased and thankful for all of the items I got and I cannot wait to spend the majority of the year wearing them, as I think that a lot of it can still be worn all year around, unlike a lot of Christmas jumpers.
So, in the end on Christmas Day I wore my sprout top, blue cord dress, a grey Christmas Jumper with a unicorn with Rudolph’s red nose (a red pom-pom with sequins THAT CHANGE COLOUR WHEN PUSHED IN THE OTHER DIRECTION) and saying ‘I’m pulling Santa’s sleigh this year’ PERFECT, my black thermal leggings, Grinch socks, black pixie boots and the jacket my Dad had also bought me (which is the warmest jacket I’ve ever owned) along with a surprise (blanket) scarf which completed my outfit.
Let me know of any shops you think that I should be shopping at this year as you now have an idea of the fashion I like, or if you don’t, check out the rest of my style blog posts, link here, to see.
Remember be brave, be happy, be kind, be you!
See you next time…
