This is a smoothie, and milkshake, that I have wanted to make for a long time. I like strawberries, and love strawberries dipped in chocolate, and that was kind of my thinking around this smoothie. It is incredibly filling and rich in flavour, as you will see in the list of ingredients. I originally tried adding just ten grams of cocoa powder to my smoothie and this was way too much! I think around half that (5g) will be a good flavour combination, for me, but add as little or as much as you like.
This recipe makes around 350ml of this lovely smoothie. Let’s-a-go!
100g Strawberries, tops removed
1 tsp Cocoa Powder, add as little or much as you like (I used 10g and found this to be too strong)
250ml Water/Milk, I use skinny lactofree milk
Measuring Spoons (optional)
Measure out and prepare all of your ingredients so that they are completely ready for you to use.
Place strawberries into your blender.
Add your water and/or milk.
Now, add in your cocoa powder.
Blend until well combined and smooth.
If there isn’t enough of a chocolate flavour, add another teaspoon in at a time until you find the right flavour combination for you.
Serve and enjoy!
