Virgin Mojito Flavoured Water

Hello Adventurers!

I absolutely loved the taste of my flavoured water recipe, link here, and I am really excited to be showing you another one.  One of my all time favourite drinks is a virgin mojito, I actually have this most weekends when I go to dinner with my Dad and I wanted to create a few recipes with the components of this delicious drink.  In view of how hot it has been the last couple of months, I wanted to create another refreshing flavoured water recipe but combine my favourite drink with it!  This recipe is based on a 250ml glass, lets-a-go!

Ingredients:

Water

8 – 12 Leaves of Mint, I used 12 (this depends on how minty you like your mojito)

1 tsp Sugar

1 Lime, sliced

Equipment:

Glass

Measuring Jug

Measuring Spoons

Chopping Board

Small Knife

Pestle and Mortar

Small Mixing Bowl

Wooden Spoon/Tablespoon

Sieve

Bowl

Method:

Work out how much your glass can take by filling it with water to your desired amount and emptying that into a measuring jug.

Place your mint leaves into a pestle and mortar, along with your sugar and crush until well combined.

Slice your lime if you haven’t already.

Now place your water, sugary mint leaves and your lime slices into your small mixing bowl and give it a little mix with a wooden spoon or tablespoon, just to help the infusing process.

Place in the fridge overnight.

In the morning, pour into your glass through a sieve to get rid of the mint (setting them aside in a separate bowl).

Serve and enjoy!

I hope you love this recipe as much as I do!  Let me know what you thought of this post in the comments below, also tag me on Instagram, @vickiiesadventure, link here, so you can show me your lovely creations!  Please share this post with your friends and family if you think that they will enjoy it!  Also, be sure to see my shop, link here, where you can get most if not all you need to make this creation!
