Gluten Free Fusilli Pizza Sauce Pasta

Hello Adventurers!

This is my recipe for Gluten Free Fusilli Pizza Sauce Pasta, which serves two people!  Lets-a-go!

Ingredients:

250g Tomato Passata

2 tbsp Honey

1/4 tsp Dried Basil

3/4 tsp Onion Granules

1/2 tsp Mixed Herbs

1/4 tsp Rosemary

1/4 tsp Pepper

Pinch of Salt

Pinch of Cayenne (optional)

Pinch of Hot Chilli Powder (optional)

 

Pasta:

150g Gluten Free Fusilli

Equipment:

Scales

Measuring Spoons

Small Mixing Bowl

Spatula

Large Saucepan

Ladle

 

Method

Pizza Sauce:

Measure out all your ingredients and grab your small mixing bowl.

Place all your ingredients in your small mixing bowl and mix together until fully combined.

Leave your sauce for thirty minutes for all the flavours to blend together.

Note:  I personally found the cayenne and hot chilli powder made the sauce too hot for me, but if you like spicy foods, feel free to add it in!

 

Pasta:

Follow your ‘on packet’ instructions to cook your pasta.

 

All Together:

Once your pasta has finished cooking, drain away the water, leaving the pasta still in the saucepan.

Place your pasta back onto the heat and add your pizza sauce into the same saucepan.

Mix together on the heat for two minutes or until piping hot.

Serve hot and enjoy!
