I saw this recipe a long time ago and I think that it is great for children and adults alike as they can solve the problem of wanting crisps and also gives people one of their five a day without even trying hard. You can add cinnamon, but have kept this at just the flavour of the apple. Lets-a-go!
Mandoline or Small Knife
Grab your chopping board and core your apples.
Either using a mandoline, or a small knife (I personally used a mandoline, but I think a small knife would do the job just as well) begin cutting your apple into very thin slices.
Trim some baking paper to the size of your chosen plate, and place on your plate.
Add your apple slices to your plate leaving a little space between each, you may need to do several batches so don’t worry if you have slices left over, and place in your microwave.
Cook each batch for a minute at a time until cooked to your liking.
Serve hot or cold depending on your preference, and enjoy!
