I have suffered with nausea since I was thirteen, and possibly younger than that! It is a very crippling thing for me as when I feel sick I feel like I can’t do anything but at the same time I have to sometimes because other people depend on me and things would never get done. But, when I don’t have anyone depending on me or anything desperately needing to be finished, I have to find another way of coping with it.
It had kicked up a notch recently, and I was just fed up of it to be honest with you. So me and my mum went on a mission to fix this, and have finally come up with some solutions:
These are sweets that you can buy hard boiled or chewy and they are life savers, seriously. Ginger is a natural nausea fighter and it truly works. If you start feeling sick just chew or suck one, or two if it is really bad, of these bad boys and it seriously makes the world of difference.
Now, I can probably guess what you are thinking, that must taste vial. Well, I thought so too, but if you add a little honey or sugar to sweeten it up, it tastes really great and makes a huge difference. You can even add lemon and that makes it taste awesome.
I don’t like ginger beer, and never really have, so one day my cousin picked up some ginger ale for me. Now, this could be me making this up, but, I think that this has a less hot and bitter taste compared to ginger beer. Just sip on some of this and it again makes the world of difference for me.
Hot Water Bottle
In my opinion there aren’t many things that a hot water bottle can’t fix. I sleep with two nearly every night and I find them a real life saver.
